Training internships

INTERNSHIPS

An internship allows a student to have a period of work experience in public or private institutions, in order to develop specific personal and professional skills.

Through these activities, the student acquires a direct knowledge of a field of work to which a degree can give access, as well as useful information to facilitate an informed choice in relation to his/her professional future.

The 150-hour internship enables students to obtain recognition of 6 university credits (CFU/ECTS).

These ECTS/CFU do not affect the average grade and are considered as activities of a student's choice.

REQUIREMENTS

Students who have attained at least 90 CFU/ECTS and are enrolled at least in the second year of the course can make an internship.

IMPORTANT

Before activating the online procedure, please get in touch with the traineeship contact person, Professor Alessandra Ambanelli (alessandra.ambanelli@unipr.it), for a preliminary interview.

Online internships: management mode

The curricular internships of the Bachelor in Political Science and International Relations are managed online. Therefore, this system requires that each individual partner COMPANY, STUDENT, UNIVERSITY manages exclusively online the part of its competence relating to the signing of training projects as well as the procedure for the recognition of internship periods carried out by a student.

To access the procedure, a user must enter his/her own page by following the link https://unipr.esse3.cineca.it/Home.do

For more information visit the page ⇒ Tirocini Curriculari On-line

PROCESS

During the internship, students must fill in the attendance form (http://www.unipr.it/tirocini-curriculari), which shows their presence at the host institution, with an indication of the day and number of hours worked. At the end of the internship, the attendance form must be signed by the contact person at the host institution.

At the end of the internship (within 6 months), the student must enter in the appropriate section "Attachments" on ESSE3:

a) the Final Report, in which the student must illustrate the activity carried out;

b) the Report of the host institution, with an evaluation form about the trainee's work;

c) the attendance form signed by the tutor at the Host Organisation.

Please note. The university tutor, after checking the documentation, forwards his/her evaluation to the Course Council (Consiglio di Corso di Studi) for the appropriate decision of approval.
